Summer Youth Project: VLOG 2020
Open to ages 16-18. Pays $15/hr for up to 100 hours.
July 13 – August 14.

100 youth will participate in an online and in-person learning experience called VLOG 2020. VLOG 2020 will help youth polish critical digital skills using YouTube as a primary platform, creating and developing digital content. Participants will create their own VLOGs (Video Blog) to share reflections on COVID-19 and racism. Each youth will also develop a marketing strategy to attract “viewers” to watch their final videos on YouTube.
Open to ages 14-15. Pays up to $1,000 in stipends and incentives.

150 young people from low-income families, will gain invaluable work and life skills. Ready2Earn will provide virtual experiential learning opportunities focused on work readiness and project-based digital technology skills. Youth will participate in virtual workshops, group meetups, and receive coaching in building valuable skills that Franklin County employers look for when making hiring decisions.

Open to rising 6th-8th grade students. (10-13 years old)
June 22 – July 31.
Registration is now closed.
Approximately 40 eligible students will strengthen their reading and math skills over the summer break. The curriculum includes STEAM lessons as well as health and wellness, leadership development, future empowerment, and character development. This virtual summer camp also includes many engaging hands-on activities that will be available for pick up or delivery.
