LINCS Supply Chain Management

Hard Outcomes: Finding jobs for 111 un- or under-employed people by September 2016. This specific initiative aims for 250 new certificate-earners to get and keep at least 155 jobs.

Objectives: Match hard-to-place people with supply chain management opportunities. Support them in earning career certificate.

Approach: Offer a one-credit hour, sixteen-week course. Boost success rates with group review sessions, access to computers, a certified facilitator and workforce readiness training. Assist in job placement and retention.

Evidence: As a Midwestern distribution hub, Columbus 2020 projects a 21% increase in transportation and warehousing jobs in Central Ohio between 2010 and 2020.
