Hard Outcomes: Better engaged, equipped, and hands-on fathers. More than $4.9 million in paid child support since the program’s inception.

Objectives: Fostering or restoring strong bonds between fathers and their children, despite family break-ups, incarceration, and/or other barriers. Educating the community about the critical role of fathers in child development and family stability.

Approach: Offered four times a year, fathers join ten weeks of curriculum-based classes, learning parenting skills, different approaches to engaging children, as well as an overview of visitation rights and the management of child support obligations.

Evidence: With 1,000 graduates and counting, Father 2 Father has proven results. Research proves and demonstrates that involved fathers contribute significantly to a child’s emotional and social development and performance in school.
