Accelerate Her

Accelerate Her is a training program designed to accelerate the growth of already established Black women-owned businesses. This training program is designed to create a network of support necessary to scale their businesses, secure contracts, and grow their capital access. The goal of this program is to have a lasting impact on not only the participants but also the community.

As one of the most under resourced groups in the country, Black women have great prospects for opportunity if the right initiatives and resources are built to support them.

Accelerate HER will accelerate the growth and maturity of 100 Black Women-Owned small businesses over the next three years.

The program will provide targeted, wrap-around services including courses, coaching, mentorship, capital, and contracting opportunities for Black Women-Owned small businesses that are:
— Entering the growth phase
— Positioning to take advantage of the existing and expected demand for diverse suppliers in Columbus.

In the short-term, Accelerate Her will create the space for initial operation increases and boost supplier diversity in Columbus with the cohort participants and facilitate long-term change through providing the tools necessary to scale across markets.
