Just Heal Bro (Black Male Mental Health Tour)
February 3 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
It’s been well documented and explained that Black men face significant and unique mental health challenges. The palpable impacts of historical racism, coupled with extraordinary contemporary stressors and a culture of hypermasculinity – all combine and can take a dramatic toll.
Yet, Black men continue to shine every day: As the most involved fathers, as servant leaders who protect our country by serving in our military, and as community leaders dedicated to teaching our young people a better way to live.
Join CUL on Saturday, Feb. 3 in celebrating and encouraging Black men to strengthen their ability to rise above injustices and trauma and find success and peace. Click here to register!
This safe, male-only space will bring together men from all walks of life to foster healing journeys through experiences and conversations that speak to the realities of life as a Black man. Speakers at this free event include Actor/Mental Health Advocate Lamman Rucker, Dr. Joel Tudman, Dr. Oshan Gadsen, Dr. Jay Barnett and Lawrence Adjah.
Just Heal Bro, a global tour, works to help Black men:
- Find strength in vulnerability and healing through education and community
- Cultivate greater emotional intelligence and resiliency
- Deepen connections and relationships
- Support healing journeys with culturally responsive practices
Let’s make sure that Black men in our community don’t miss this life-changing opportunity.
The Pre-Event Mixer, with free grooming, self care resources and more, starts at 11 a.m., followed by the interactive panel at Noon. Click here to register!
