WRT University
Columbus Urban League’s Work Readiness Training University (WRTU) is now the WRTU 365! Experience, open to ages 14-19. Check out our brand new WRTU website: workready.cul.org

Young Geniuses is now FRESH Summer
The FRESH Afterschool & Summer STEAM-based Learning Initiative is designed for TANF-eligible youth in grades 3-8 (afterschool) and entering grades 5-8 (for summer programming. The summer program runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily at The Shepard School by ECS (with field trips too!). Youth will be introduced to science, technology, engineering, arts and math concepts to spark an interest in future careers in those fields. Summer Youth Project: VLOG
Every summer up to 40 youth learn to create, develop, and produce a group YouTube Platform and Video Blog (VLOG). Students will receive appropriate training and support in the development of the VLOG and YouTube, as well as assistance in creating a marketing plan to attract other teens to view their work. Open to ages 14-18, with pay of $15/hour up to 100 hours. Stay tuned for application info in the spring.
