Eligibility Criteria for CUL Head Start

Columbus Urban League Head Start
Serving Families Residing South of I 70
[43204,43206,43207,43223,43228,43232,43123,43125,43110,43119,43137, 43140 and 43146]

Children must be 3 to 5 years old and not eligible for Kindergarten in their school district.
Families must be residing south of I70 in Franklin County.
To enroll, families must submit a completed enrollment application along with:
  • Proof of Income
  • Child’s Birth Certificate
  • Child’s Health Insurance Card
  • Current Immunization record
  • Current Physical
  • Title XX eligibility ( if applying for full-day Head Start)
  • Proof of custody ( if applicable)
Full Day – 6:30 p.m. through 5:30 p.m. [Title XX required / FCDJFS co-pay required]
Part Day – 3 ½ hours a day [Four days per week / A.M. and P.M. classes]
Home Based – Head Start in your home [One visit per week in the home / Monthly center classes]
Head Start services are offered in many daycare centers in your neighborhood. Ask your daycare provider if they are part of the Columbus Urban League Head Start Collaboration.
